Without a God-Breathed Vision People Lose Hope and Die

A mission statement does two primary things for a church.  For those already inside the church, it helps them plan for the future with a specific focus in mind.  With a clear sense of mission, a church can stay out of ruts, avoid stagnation, and grow in vitality and effectiveness.  For those on the outside, a mission statement helps people answer these important questions: "Is this the right church for me?  Can I best fulfill God's mission in and through this community?"    We hope the mission statement of New Hope Church will fulfill both of these functions.

Mission Statement

We are a community of followers of Jesus Christ, committed to live by faith, to be known by love, and to be a voice of hope. We are committed to spiritual practices that God uses to facilitate spiritual formation that then thrusts us into a missional engagement with others as we naturally and routinely go through life.
