    Designed for Joy
    Designed For Joy is a transitional work experience for women coming from trafficking, homelessness, time in prison, overcoming addiction or other vulnerable situations. They provide living wage work hours while building confidence and refreshing resumes, and are launching equipped women into the marketplace. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available.
    Project Linus
    Project Linus is a non-profit that helps facilitate making blankets for children in need. Visit the link for patterns, instructions and local drop off locations.
    With Love From Jesus
    With Love From Jesus is an evangelical outreach that supplies food, clothing and household items to those in need. Set up much like a store, their guests are able to choose needed items with assistance from volunteers.
    Note In The Pocket
    Note in the Pocket provides clothing to students identified by various schools and social service agencies in Wake County. Clothing is given in a dignified manner and notes of encouragement are included.
    Community of Hope
    Community of Hope Ministries exists to eliminate the barriers to success in the home, classroom and in the community by providing after school tutoring, a food pantry, community garden, and more. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities.
    Bread of Life Ministries
    Bread of Life Ministries is a non-denominational community outreach committed to impacting the neighborhood by demonstrating God’s love to all people. Their purpose is to feed the hungry, clothe those who lack, encourage the downcast, walk alongside their neighbors until they can walk on their own…and be a consistent friend.
    Orange Congregations in Mission
    Orange Congregations In Mission (OCIM) is a private, non-profit ministry located in Hillsborough, North Carolina. The membership, volunteers, and staff of OCIM are committed to providing a helping hand to those in our community in a crisis situation needing food and other basic resources.
    Raleigh Dream Center
    Raleigh Dream Center is a Christian-based, volunteer driven organization providing social services and community programs to homeless, abused and impoverished high risk youth, individuals and families. There are weekday and weekend serving opportunities available.
    The Carying Place
    The Carying Place serves families with children who are experiencing homelessness by teaching life skills for attaining independent living while providing short-term housing and support services to address their individual needs.
    NC Food Bank
    The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for our friends and neighbors facing hunger in 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina for 40 years.
    Duke Children's Hospital
    Show a family that there are people out there that care and are praying for them. Create a hat for a preemie or a cancer patient. All sizes are welcome! Add a written note of encouragement to the parents and place each hat in a small zipped bag. Homemade knit or crocheted hats can be dropped off at Sunday Worship or mailed to the Durham campus during this COVID season.
    Meals on Wheels
    Meals on Wheels is a non-profit agency committed to enhancing the quality of life for eligible homebound adults in our communities. Volunteer opportunities include loading meals, delivering meals and making check in phone calls to clients.
