Hats for HOPE

Hats For HOPE

Huddle is 9:00 am at the Durham Campus. All serving opportunities wrap up at 12:00 pm.

We gather in the Fireside Room to spend time in fellowship, prayer, and create items for children and adults receiving treatment in hospitals and living in the foster care system in our community.

We crochet and knit hats, scarves, and blankets, write notes of encouragement to the recipient or caregiver, and then deliver them.

Packets of HOPE for Ronald McDonald House

Huddle is 9:00 am at the Durham Campus. All serving opportunities wrap up at 12:00 pm.

Will gather monthly and, using items from hopetown, create activity packets for the kids and their siblings to have fun things to do while going through treatments. Write a note of encouragement, pray over the packets and deliver them to the Ronald McDonald House in Durham.

HOPE Outdoor Adventures

HOPE Outdoor Adventures

Huddle is 9:00 am at the Durham Campus. All serving opportunities wrap up at 12:00 pm.

Grab your gloves and garden tools and join us as we do activities in the community each month from Rake and Run’s in the fall to landscaping at local schools and cleaning up community parks. If you love working outdoors this is for you!

Seats to the Streets

Seats to the Streets

Huddle is 9:00 am at the Durham Campus. All serving opportunities wrap up at 12:00 pm.

World changers will meet at the Durham campus and create packets to take out into the community.

Projects might include: Pop on Over visits, Operation Christmas Child, serving meals, working at homeless shelters, helping a person in need, and so much more!

Share the HOPE

Share the HOPE

Huddle is 9:00 am at the Durham Campus. All serving opportunities wrap up at 12:00 pm.

Join us as we visit newhopers! We will take encouragement cards and other items with us as we visit our brothers and sisters and share the HOPE with them. Minimum teams of two will travel to locations, we will call ahead of the visit, pray, and show we care!

World Changers will come along our 3 public schools and NCCU to do activities to encourage our teachers who teach our children day in and day out.

Fill the food, personal hygiene, and teacher supply closets, help move in, bake and send notes of encouragement to college students and so much more!

We will be hanging door hangers in our community. We will be meeting at Heritage Middle School at 8:30 AM on Saturday morning.

Join our team on the second Saturday of each month as we host a Bingo tournament with seniors at Eno Pointe Assisted Living located at 5600 N Roxboro St. Durham, NC 27712

Invest and Invite Day

We will grab stacks of flyers and door hangers to go on cars in surrounding grocery store parking lots and neighborhoods.

Haven Wish List Items - Sanford CAMPUS

HAVEN WISH LIST ITEMS

  • We would like to invite the Sanford campus folks to bring items from the wish list. (List below)
  • Our goal is to have enough items from the wish list to build 10 blessing bags for the resident ladies at HAVEN.  Once we have built those bags will we pray over the bags and the ladies that will receive them.
  • Our time to gather would be 9am until 11am.
  • The bags will be going to the HAVEN (Helping Abuse & Violence End Now) in Lee County, Inc.
